The family of the victim is saying that what we clearly see happen on video is not what actually happened. So they are denying physical reality on national television. I understand they are grieving from their loss, but the cop yelled at him to stop and surrender over and over again, he didn’t just come out and start shooting. The victim even tries to tell the cop that he dropped the gun “back there” in an attempt to get the cop to stop chasing him. And finally, you clearly see the kid pull out his gun and point it at the cop before he gets shot and you see the gun clatter to the ground.
