At least they care about cows in India. Not their own women or children persay, since I see videos of vile violent behavior from within Indian culture far too regularly. Whether its an honor killing of ones own daughter, or a husband beheading his wife right in front of her entire family, then throwing her head at them, there seems to be some sustained savagery from many tribal sects within that country.
But India is very tribal, with many many languages and cultures that can vary in their moral equity quite drastically. So not all Indian states practice this kind of brutality against people, but some do. However it seems that bovine are still held up on a religious pedestal and worthy of tremendous time and effort to save if one happens to fall down a well. As is evident in this clip.
