WTF was captured passing the Moon?

What the bloody hell is this freaking shadow?  It makes the moon look almost like it's a prop.  I get the feeling that the moon is SIGNIFICANTLY smaller when I see those shadows go accross the surface.  Who the heck knows what's real anymore?
